Toddler injured in Oklahoma auto accident will recover

The Daily Ardmoreite reported that a toddler who was injured in an Oklahoma auto accident last week will recover. 

The Oklahoma auto accident occurred when 1-year-old girl wandered away from her father and walked in front of a school bus. 

The bus driver involved in the Oklahoma auto accident made the last stop on his route and dropped by to talk with the child’s father about items he had for sale. 

When he returned to the bus to leave, he says he checked all mirrors and never saw the toddler, nor did he even know the bus had hit anyone. 

The Oklahoma auto accident injury victim was taken to the hospital and listed in critical but stable condition. 

However, the young auto accident injury victim has returned home and is expected to recover.

Teen dies after Oklahoma pedestrian accident

A 17-year-old girl died after a hit and run Oklahoma pedestrian accident last Friday, Tulsa World reported. 

Authorities say the 17-year-old Oklahoma auto accident victim was sitting in the middle of Texanna Road near Interstate 40 when a white van hit her, causing the Oklahoma pedestrian accident. 

The van continued driving after hitting the girl and neither the driver nor the van involved in the Oklahoma auto accident has been located.

Child suffers Tulsa dog bite injuries

A child has suffered injuries as a result of Tulsa dog bites after being attacked by neighbors’ pit bull dogs Saturday, Tulsa World reported.

The Tulsa dog bite injury victim apparently scaled the fence into a neighbor’s yard where the pit bulls attacked him and bit his legs and head.

Another neighbor, 17, heard the incident and rescued the Tulsa dog bite injury victim by running into the yard and scaring the dogs away from the child.

Police responded to the call and shot and killed one of the pit bulls. The other pit bull was taken to a local animal shelter to be tested for rabies in the Tulsa dog bite case.

The owners of the pit bulls were out of town at the time that the Tulsa dog bite injuries occurred.

Bridge temporarily closed after Oklahoma boat accident

A bridge was temporarily closed overnight after an Oklahoma boat accident when seven barges crashed in the U.S. 62 bridge Monday, Tulsa World reported.

The barges broke loose from the port and floated down the Arkansas River where they struck the bridge at about 8:30 p.m., causing the Oklahoma boat accident.

Authorities have not concluded how the barges broke loose from the port and caused the Oklahoma boat accident.

There were no Oklahoma boat accident injuries Monday, unlike the Oklahoma boat accident in 2002 when a barge crashed into a pier off the Interstate 40 bridge, killing 14 people.

The bridge was reopened Tuesday at 5:30 a.m., after the structure had been tested following the Oklahoma boat accident.

One injured in Shawnee auto accident

One man remains hospitalized after an attempted stunt leads to a Shawnee auto accident, the Shawnee News-Star reported.

The Shawnee auto accident victim, 20, climbed through the back window of a pickup truck while it was moving and attempted to stand on the tool box in the bed of the truck when he fell off

The Shawnee auto accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

The driver and the other passenger were not injured in the Shawnee auto accident.

The Shawnee auto accident is still being investigated, but authorities said there was an odor of alcohol at the scene.

Police chase leads to Tulsa auto accident

April 8, 2008 

A bar fight that led to a police chase ended in a Tulsa auto accident Saturday, KJRH reported. 

Two women were said to be fighting at a bar when the one woman left in her car and the other woman followed her to her home. Neighbors called the police when they heard the women arguing at the residence. 

When police arrived the woman fled the scene and crashed her vehicle into a utility pole and flipped it, causing the Tulsa auto accident. 

The Tulsa auto accident victim suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized. 

Police say alcohol may be involved and that the Tulsa car accident injury victim will be arrested upon release from the hospital.

Three injured in Oklahoma pedestrian accident

April 3, 2008 

Three people were injured in an Oklahoma pedestrian accident on Turner Turnpike Monday night, Tulsa World reported. 

The Oklahoma pedestrian accident occurred when the three pedestrians were walking on the shoulder of the road, waiving traffic. 

A pickup truck stopped west of the pedestrians and then backed up, hitting all three, and caused the Oklahoma pedestrian accident injuries. 

One of the Oklahoma pedestrian accident injury victims was flown to a hospital for treatment of head and internal injuries. The other pedestrians were treated and released.

Man dies as result after Oklahoma possible slip and fall injury

April 1, 2008 

An employee of an Oklahoma steel plant has died after being trapped between two machines in a possible Oklahoma slip and fall accident. 

The Oklahoma slip and fall accident victim, 23, was attempting to hook a boom dolly to a crane when the dolly he was standing on slipped out from under him and trapped him between the two machines. 

He was flown to a hospital where he later died as a result of his Oklahoma work injuries. 

The death of the employee is being investigated as an Oklahoma work accident.
