Man dies in Tulsa boat accident

Water can be a great source of summer fun, with many people hitting the water when the temperatures rise.

Unfortunately, a day that began as fun for one man ended tragically when he lost his life in a Tulsa boat accident, according to Tulsa World.

The Tulsa boat accident occurred when a 31-year-old man in a kayak went over the Zink Lake dam under the pedestrian bridge. Tulsa firefighters rescued the unconscious man, and he was taken to St. Francis Hospital.

The Tulsa boat accident victim who worked as a traveling nurse for St. Francis Health System was pronounced dead a few hours after being taken to the Tulsa hospital.

Oklahoma City auto accident kills 11 horses

People are not the only ones at risk for auto accident injuries. Sometimes animals en route suffer injuries or death in crashes too.

Unfortunately, 11 horses were killed as the result of an Oklahoma City auto accident on the Turner Turnpike, according to The Oklahoman.

The fatal Oklahoma City auto accident occurred when a truck carrying 30 horses turned over when the driver of the truck fell asleep behind the wheel. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Passersby stopped to help move the horses off road.  Some of the horses were badly injured, and others had to be euthanized.

Tulsa auto accident causes van to flip

It is sometimes difficult to anticipate the decisions other drivers on the road, particularly when they ignore traffic signals and red lights.

That’s what happened in a Tulsa auto accident that occurred at the intersection of Sixth Street and Cheyenne Avenue, according to Tulsa World.

The Tulsa auto accident occurred when a white sedan and a red minivan collided at the intersection; however, it is unclear which vehicle ran the red light. But the Tulsa auto accident did cause the van to flip.

The driver of the van was injured in the crash, but no one else suffered serious Tulsa auto accident injuries.
