The Oklahoman reports that Oklahoma defective product injuries, including E. Coli, did not stem from the water at Country Cottage Restaurant, rather food at the restaurant is believed to be the source.
Oklahoma defective product injuries have affected 206 people and one person has died as a result of E. Coli. Most of the Oklahoma defective product injury victims had reported eating at the Country Cottage restaurant, according to the Health Department.
The E. Coli injuries were first believed to be caused by well water the restaurant had recently begun using.
The E. Coli found in stool samples of the Oklahoma defective product injury victims indicated E. Coli 0111, a rare type of E. Coli.
