Oklahoma Disability Advocate Scholarship

As a personal injury law firm, Colbert Cooper Hill sees the challenges that people with disabilities face every day. We’re fierce disability advocates who are committed to supporting the needs of disabled individuals. We hope to inspire young people with disabilities to pursue their goals. Furthermore, we want to encourage all young people to be advocates for others around them who are living with disabilities.

With this in mind, we’re excited to present our Disability Advocate Scholarship, which will offer one student a $1,000 scholarship to be applied towards his/her tuition and other education-related expenses.

Our attorneys at Colbert Cooper Hill help disabled individuals through the difficult process of obtaining Social Security disability benefits. We see first-hand how difficult it can be for a disabled person to do everyday things. While there are laws in place to protect people with disabilities, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, navigating the world still isn’t easy. Society can make it hard for a disabled person to find a job, excel in school, or even take public transportation.

Colbert Cooper Hill is passionate about fighting for the financial benefits that some disabled people need to account for the impact their disability has on their day-to-day life. But we’re also committed to advocating for these individuals and doing our part to make our communities more accessible for everyone.

That is why we decided to start the Disability Advocate Scholarship. We hope this scholarship will help one student achieve their educational goals and go on to do good in the world. The winner will share our mission to be disability advocates.
